Growing up in San Diego close to the Mexican border, the “Virgin de guadalupe”  has played a major roll in my upbringing and in my introduction to tattooing. I’ve tattooed so many Mary’s in my 20 years of tattooing, and the design has become one of my favorite tattoo images. Although I am not catholic I have two Virgin Mary tattoos on me, and I have a love and respect for the image. I’ve been painting a lot of Mary’s during this quarantine so I was inspired to make a shirt. 

The front pocket hit “with Safety & Respect” is based on a basic interpretation of the definition of C/S “Con Safos” a slang term. The GP is for Ghetto Protected a crew I started with a friend over 10 years ago.
